Prefinished Douglas Fir Tongue and Groove Siding
Douglas Fir Tongue & Groove exterior siding provides a unique, clean look that you can have installed horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. The tongue & groove profile is available with a rough or a smooth face and is best when kiln-dried for better paint adhesion and overall performance. The joints between each board are typically v-shaped, but custom profiles can be created in which the joint is flush or cut with a nickel gap which will give a unique shadow line where the two boards meet.

The wood is very strong for its weight and is one of the hardest and heaviest softwoods commercially available in North America. The grain will be typically straight and plain and will accept a stain nicely.
Doug Fir Siding Grades Available
The grade is #1 and better. This knotty product provides a rustic look and is kiln-dried. Board lengths are available in 8' to 16' random lengths.
Custom Siding Colors
All Doug Fir siding profiles are offered prefinished in one of our stain colors, primed only, or primed and top-coated with a solid finish. Our pre-finishing process will seal each board against moisture and protect the wood from harmful UV rays. When factory finished, there are no runs, drips, or shrink lines, and the finish will be applied to all six sides of the material (face, back, edges, and ends).
