The dutch lap siding profile is very similar to traditional shiplap and channel rustic siding except there is a radius section on the upper leading edge of each board. Dutch (or German/Dutch) Lap siding is installed exactly like shiplap so it is very good at sealing out wind, rain, and other natural elements. This unique profile will give your custom home an attractive unique shadow line.

Our custom Legacy Gray stain allows most of the natural wood texture to be seen with a rich dark gray tone. The stain is machine applied to all six sides providing excellent protection against moisture and harmful UV rays. The oil in the stain penetrates the wood and protects more than just the surface of the board making it water repellent with a beautiful rich finish.
