The dutch lap siding profile is very similar to traditional shiplap and channel rustic siding except there is a radius section on the upper leading edge of each board. Dutch (or German/Dutch) Lap siding is installed exactly like shiplap so it is very good at sealing out wind, rain, and other natural elements. This unique profile will give your custom home an attractive unique shadow line.

This Bleaching Stain is designed to accelerate the natural weathering process of unfinished wood. In this formulation is a small amount of gray to give it a gray stained look but as the wood is exposed to the natural elements the color will change to a "natural driftwood gray color". Typically it will take 3-6 months for the finish to achieve a uniform weathered look. Factory applying the stain to all six sides provides protection against water and harmful UV rays from the sun.
