The dutch lap siding profile is very similar to traditional shiplap and channel rustic siding except there is a radius section on the upper leading edge of each board. Dutch (or German/Dutch) Lap siding is installed exactly like shiplap so it is very good at sealing out wind, rain, and other natural elements. This unique profile will give your custom home an attractive unique shadow line.

Our Desert Sand stain allows the natural wood texture to be seen and changes the color to a rich natural light golden brown. The stain is machine applied to all six sides giving each board protection against moisture and harmful UV rays. The oil in the stain penetrates the wood and protects more than just the surface of the board making it water repellent and provides a beautiful rich finish.
