Shiplap has become very popular in recent years as a rustic interior wall board and provides a unique look whether it is installed bare (no coating) or prefinished either with a polyurethane clear, semi-transparent stain or painted a solid color. We take the beauty of C&Better grade southern yellow pine boards and custom factory finish them with a rich penetrating stain. We then apply a satin polyurethane over the top to protect each board from moisture and to give it a long-lasting finish. This color is called Pickled. The stain allows the natural texture of the wood to be seen but changes the tone very slightly to a white color. The stain and poly are applied to all six sides creating a uniform finish free from lap marks, runs or streaking and it's a great option to staining on the job site. This product is recommended for interior ceiling and wallboards and can be used on a covered porch.
